Break the Hunger Cycle this Christmas.*

This is your opportunity to make a difference in the lives of school children in Cambodia who are less fortunate than us.

Consider how much you will spend on your Christmas dinner and match that by donating to help us provide sustainable food projects.

Help Break the Hunger Cycle

Children need to be eating nutritious meals if they are to concentrate and succeed at school.

Our special Christmas campaign will focus on improving the lives of vulnerable Cambodian children by establishing nutritional vegetable gardens at schools & teaching children the benefits of eating nutritious food.

Nutritional gardens produce a variety of healthy, nutrient dense foods including fruits, leafy vegetables, beans, root crops, nuts & grains. They increase the nutritional quality of local diets, mostly due to their micronutrients (minerals and vitamins), but also macronutrients (protein and carbohydrates). In addition to their direct food and nutritional value, diversifying the variety of vegetables grown results in improved climate resilient food production.

Excess vegetable production can be sold to provide income for the school.

Students will gain valuable skills and knowledge in vegetable gardening and food nutrition in addition to having delicious fresh foods integrated into their diets.

This campaign will not only relieve hunger but also spark stimulating conversations and social awareness around the issue of food security for those who are most disadvantaged.
